Cru Hotel - Tallinn

Neat place with garden views and competent staff. Marvellous central location and hearty breakfast. 10 km away from Lennart Meri Tallinn airport. A safe box, central heating and a work desk available in the standard twin room. Fast check-in, smooth check-out.

The room was spacious, showcasing unique decor and an inviting atmosphere that felt rich with history. Breakfast included a delectable assortment, especially the succulent organic chicken, a delight. Originally expecting a compact hotel, I was kinda surprised by its charming depth and character.

The employees are genuinely helpful.

Excellent location, hard to think of better one, if you are going to explore the old town, it's right next to the main square. Really liked the design of our room and the hotel itself. Everything was very clean. The hotel is secure (have to ring the bell and then the door will be opened). In addition the bed was amazingly soft and cosy (room 4).

The amazingly comfortable double bed was actually combined from 2 single beds, can't sleep in the middle, which wasn't a problem anyway, because it was 2 of us.

Outstandingly accommodating staff, everything tidy.

We stayed in a superior room which I believe was more spacious than the basic room. The hotel is small and staff friendly. The Viru Inn is centrally located. Tallinn is very busy on a Saturday night so some may find the hotel noisy, we didn't though. The hotel doesn't have air conditioning which, again, some may prefer. We would happily book this hotel again.

The rooms do not have tea/coffee making facilities which I would have liked but I was aware of this in advance.

The atmosphere is delightful and the hotel is very peaceful. The blend of old and new design works really well. The standard of cleanliness and room service was excellent. One of the best thing about the hotel is it's location. Restaurants, museums, concert halls all within walking distance.

The bath was very good and luxus, but in the hotel was only two rooms with barh. That must annonce in the rooms details. The room was also exellant and romantic.

I liked the slightly bohemian, relaxed look and atmosphere, and the eclectic way the whole hotel had been furnished. Also it was great that some of the original features of this very old, historic building were visible. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

I was a bit surprised that the "superior double room" did not have any "bathroom goodies" or any extras other than bathrobes, but then again I had found this hotel by "googling" for budget accommodation. Also I feel that visitors should be made aware at the booking stage that there is no lift. This of course is understandable in a small historic building, and the staff always help with carrying cases upstairs, but it could be a problem for some people.

The room we stayed in was massive, complete with a sauna! Its charm just, with an ambiance that transported us back in time.

We had an amazing experience. The room was such an incredible mix of being classic (600 yr old building) and wonderful modern amenities. Very Romantic! The breakfast was beyond description. So much variety and so tastefully presented. All of these great experiences were only superceded by the extravagant service of the team. We were welcomed so warmly and cared for at every possible detail. The location is the best - right in the heart of the Old City. We never even attempted to explore the rest of the city - it was so great to be in the midst of all the history of Riga. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to everyone we know.

Extreme kindness of hotel managemet, waiters and other employe. Absolut superior, we felt like home. We will not stay in no other place next time we will visit Tallin, thanks to the people working at the hotel. Thank you very much for being so helpful and for very pleasant stay
